How Did The Partnership Start?
In the 1st and 2nd round of the Ginetta GT5 Challenge in May, Chris of CDW Motorsport was challenging within a race, where unfortunately a pro driver lost control in greasy conditions and collided with Chris.
Upon assessment of the damage, there was a hefty repair bill to which Chris make an appeal to help rebuild his car. Crockery Direct caught wind of this, we got speaking with the CDW Motorsport team, and the rest is history.
Why 'Fragile, Crockery On Board'?
It serves two purposes.
- This was a fun sub-branding opportunity for Crockery Direct since the nature of crockery is fragile, whereas motorsport is rough and rigid by nature, thus creating a ‘fragile’ warning sticker as if there is crockery on board.
- It can also be a play on words, since our partnership came about through unfortunate circumstances where the car was badly beaten up, and therefore the car is fragile as it is not indestructible.
